wladimir33369By Peter Wells: On the 20th March 2010 World Boxing Organization, International Boxing Federation and IBO Heavyweight champion of the world Wladimir Klitschko 53-3(47) will defend against improving star Eddie Chambers 35-1(18) who recently outpointed Alexander Dimitrenko in a WBO eliminator. Wladimir is the favourite for this fight and so he should be but Eddie is a rising star with one defeat to IBF #2 Alexander Povetkin. Despite two good victories against Dimitrenko and Samuel Peter they were both majority decisions and could just be another hopeful who’s dreams will be shattered before the final bell.

Klitschko will be coming of a nice stoppage of Ruslan Chagaev and has plenty of other decent names on his record. Wladimir hasn’t lost since 2004 where he was stopped in 5 by Lamont Brewster whom he got revenge on just 2 years back. Wladimir has been down on a couple of occasions but Eddie is no puncher to expose any weaknesses. Wladimir may be surprised by the end of the fight how tough it was and it could well go the distance but Wladimir will be ahead he is just too good, but it could be Chambers’ night you never know in this sport.

No undercard fights have been arranged as yet but it should push in at least one decent fight, maybe we’ll get the expected next challenger for the titles Povetkin.
