Khan, 25, was knocked down three times in the fight before the brutal slaughter was mercifully stopped by referee Kenny Bayless after the bambi-legged Khan hit the deck for the third time in the fight in the 4th.

`Khan was having his way with Garcia for the first 2 1/2 rounds, showboating and making Garcia painfully slow. Had the fight stopped at that point you’d likely say Khan deserves to be considered a superstar, as he called himself a day earlier. However, in the last seconds of the 3rd round, Garcia stretched Khan by knocking him down with a monstrous left hand counter shot. Khan got up with 10 seconds to go in the round and promptly got pummeled by Garcia. Luckily for Khan the round ended because he was totally out on his feet.

In the 4th round, Garcia put Khan on a knee. Somehow, Khan got up and tried to fight back but was blasted down once again with 40 seconds left in the round. The referee then halted the fight and saved Khan from being seriously hurt.

Some fighters just aren’t cut out for the sport unfortunately. I’d have to say that Khan just doesn’t have the chin for the game.

I’m wondering if Khan’s trainer Freddie Roach is ready to cut his losses with Khan and move to fighters with more game. Khan needs to do something different, because he’s getting spanked over and over now. He can’t use the old mystery man excuse this time or blame it on the scorecards or performance enhancing drugs from his opponent. Khan flat out got whipped tonight, and In just think both Khan and Roach needs to part company. I don’t see there being a trainer that can fix Khan’s glass chin, but maybe he can find one that teaches him to protect his chin a little better. A this point Khan can’t afford to throw anything but jabs in his future fights because when he throws his power shots he’s smashed for his efforts. He might do alright if he just jabs all night long. He won’t be a huge star doing that but least he’ll keep from getting beaten left and right.
