Klitschko-Adamek
Vitali: Adamek isn’t good enough to be a heavyweight champion, too small
By Allen Fox: Photo: Sumio Yamada – Former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO’s) might do well to consider moving back down to the cruiserweight or light heavyweight divisions to ply his trade after he was dominated and stopped in the 10th round by WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) last Saturday night in Wroclaw, Poland.
Vitali destroys Adamek in 10
By Dan Ambrose: Photo credit: Sumio Yamada – WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KO’s) made easy work of Polish challenger Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KO’s), battering him for 10 rounds until the referee halted the fight in the 10th. Adamek was no match for Vitali’s jabs, right hands and left hooks and took an enormous beating in this fight. Adamek was just too small to do anything.
Adamek: I’m going to kill Vitali with my speed
By Dan Ambrose: Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) is under the impression that he’s going to beat the hulking WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) with speed and movement tonight in their fight in Wroclaw, Poland. Adamek is convinced, for whatever reason, that he’s got enough speed to beat the 40-year-old 6’7″ Vitali. I wish it were that simple.
Adamek: I want to beat Vitali no matter what it takes
By Jason Kim: Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) is willing to try anything on Saturday to get a win against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) in Wroclaw, Poland. The 6’2″ Adamek’s chances of scoring a knockout against the much taller 6’7″ Vitali are remote at best at this point.
While Adamek used to be a puncher in the light heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions at heavyweight he only possesses average power, not the type that will trouble Vitali. Instead of thinking knockout, Adamek has to look for another way of beating Vitali such as using his speed to hit and get away as fast as possible before Vitali has time to heave his big shots back at him.

Chad Dawson interested in fighting Adamek if beats Vitali on Saturday
By Dan Ambrose: Chad Dawson (30-1, 17 KO’s) is very interested in fighting Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) at heavyweight if Adamek somehow beats WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (42-2, 39 KO’s) on Saturday night in Poland. Dawson, 29, previously fought Adamek and totally dominated him by a 12 round decision in February 2007.
Vitali: You have to be born as a heavyweight; you can’t eat your way there like Adamek
By Dan Ambrose: Photo Credit: Mike Gladysz – Tomasz Adamek has eaten his way up to the heavyweight division, and been helped to get a title shot against WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko by being matched against pretty much weak C level heavyweights. On Saturday, Adamek fights Vitali in Poland in a fight that Adamek really stands no chance at winning.
Adamek: I’m going to beat Vitali by setting a fast pace
By Dan Ambrose: Photo Credits – Mike Gladysz – Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek may not have the size, the reach or the power to beat WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, but Adamek thinks he’s got the motor to win their fight on Saturday night in Poland. Adamek, 34, is saying he’s going to beat Vitali by setting a fast pace and wearing him down.
