On Saturday, Vitali faces Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KO’s) in a good paying fight in Poland.

For Adamek, he’ll be motivated by fighting in front of his home fans. That will likely lead to Adamek fighting a riskier fight than he would otherwise have done and will lead to him getting destroyed by Vitali. After this fight, Vitali wants to take on former WBA heavyweight champion David Haye if he can get Haye to build up enough nerve to accept the bout.

Haye wants to get one more big payday before he wraps up his career shortly after he turns 31 in October. However, Haye is intent on facing Vitali’s brother IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko to try and redeem himself after being humiliated by Wladimir last July. It’s Vitali’s job to try and convince Haye to fight him instead, because he wants a crack at Haye as well so that he can try and improve on Wladimir’s performance by knocking Haye out.

Haye seems to be wary of fighting Vitali, because he’s said to the media that he doesn’t have a beef with Vitali. That sounds like an excuse because the only beef that Haye had with Wladimir was that he was the one that Haye called out over and over again when he first turned pro. Haye finally talked himself into a title shot with Wladimir after a couple of years of badgering.

The only way that Vitali can get a fight with Haye is if Wladimir stands firm and ignore Haye’s pleading for a rematch. If he gives in and fights Haye again then Vitali will never get a shot at knocking Haye out.

As for Adamek, he’s going to lose to Vitali on Saturday. This is going to be easy for Vitali. Adamek has no power and mostly runs around the ring like a chicken with it’s head cut off. It’s so ugly to watch.
