froch49By Michael Payne: Over the last week there has been a lot of speculation that because of the problems with a lack of TV deal in the UK, Carl Froch (24-0, 19 KOs) could quit the UK completely & ply his trade in the USA after his fight with Jermain Taylor (28-2-1, 17 KOs) on April 25th. Carl is understandably angry with the lack of coverage but I cannot see him quitting the UK.

Just last week, Froch learned that the British television networks decided not to show his April 25th title defense against former WBC/WBO middleweight champion Jermain Taylor (28-2-1, 17 KOs), but now Joe Calzaghe has come down on the side of Taylor and is predicting that Jermain will win if both fighters are “at their best.”
