Ariza: Arum is going to cash Pacquiao out

pac3366

By Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao’s former strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza thinks that Pacquiao’s promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank is looking to cash Pacquiao out. Arum is talking about Pacquiao returning to the ring this year after being retired recently. Ariza thinks that Arum just wants to get what he can out of Pacquiao, and that he thinks he discards fighters like animals.

“He’s going to cash Pacquiao out,” said Ariza about promoter Bob Arum to Fighthype.com. “It’s not different from what he did with Erik Morales, with Chavez, with any of them. He’ll try to cash you out and get what you can get out of you. That’s what he does. He treats fighters like animals. It’s like a race dog. Once you’re done racing, throw you in the trash,” said Ariza.

Ariza says he watched the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight over and over again, and he saw no signs of Pacquiao looking injured. Besides that, Ariza saw no ice being applied to Pacquiao’s shoulder or it being massaged the way coaches would do for someone with an injury to their shoulder.
