Has Haye Gotten Inside Wladimir’s Head?

haye3423368By Sean McDaniel: Heavyweight David Haye arrived at today’s news conference in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, wearing a t-shirt with a photo of Wladimir Klitschko and Vitali’s cut off heads in each of Haye’s hands. Wladimir didn’t take the t-shirt gag too well, getting outraged over it and heatedly said “That is terrible. It’s unspeakable, it’s impudent…I want to knock him out in the 1st round.” Haye seemed to be gladdened by Wladimir’s reaction, remarking “When I beat him to bits, he will retire. Vitali will throw in the towel to save you, he will pick you off the floor.”

Haye-Klitschko: Wladimir Furious Over T-Shirt – News

wladimir2324422By Erik Schmidt: Once again, David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) was able to push Wladimir Klitschko’s (52-3, 46 KOs) buttons, this time by wearing a t-shirt showing the decapitated heads of Wladimir and his brother Vitali at a press conference at the Veltins Arena, Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The t-shirt angered Wladimir, 33, who then promised to make Haye pay for his actions by knocking him out on June 20th. For his part, Haye looked positively overjoyed with Wladimir’s reaction as if David had planned on this happening ahead of time.

The State of the Heavyweight Division – Boxing

wladimir56447By Adam Fillingham: I think everyone will agree when I say this, the heavyweight division is currently the worst division in boxing. It comes to something when seven out of ten people in Great Britain can’t name the heavyweight champion of the world. Now I don’t think Nikolay Valuev is the most memorable name but he is the WBA heavyweight champion of the world.

To prove my point even further just look at the top five heavyweights in the world:

Is Haye the Hardest Hitter in Boxing?

haye434458By Nate Anderson: If this question was asked of me a couple of years ago, I probably would have selected Nigerian heavyweight Samuel Peter as being the biggest puncher in all of boxing, but right now I’m no longer so certain about that since David Haye has emerged front and center as perhaps the purest, most powerful puncher in all of boxing.

David Haye Vs The Klitchkos: Is The 3 Fight Contract A Blessing In Disguise?

haye3423451By Adam Fillingham: On the phone this week on Boxing on Setanta was David Haye. He was on the show mainly to promote his next fight against world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitchko. Now I must say I will give him 10/10 for confidence as he showed a lot of it in the interview. His main talking point though was the contract that was offered to him calling it ‘a joke’ and that the klitchkos have the ‘ wrong mentality’.

David Haye V’s The Klitschko’s

wladimir500By Michael Payne: David Haye (22 – 1, 21 KOs) has got his chance to fight Wladimir Klitschko (52-3, 46 KOs) which will be in Germany at Arena Aufschalke the home of Shalke football club. However if reports are proved to be correct then he will not only have a tough time winning the fight but also a tough time keeping hold of the title. It has been reported (although not confirmed by the Klitschko camp) that if Haye wins he must give a rematch to Wladimir & if he wins that he must then take on his big brother Vitali, so it could be three long hard fights for the Haymaker.

Klitschko-Haye Bout to Take Place in German Soccer Stadium – News

wladimir434443556By Chris Williams: With the latest news about International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Organization heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (52-3, 46 KOs) facing British heavyweight David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) in a 60,000 seat soccer in Gilsenkirchen, Germany, I’m now giving Haye next to no chance of winning the fight. Haye had it bad before the fight, coming into a bout with the best heavyweight on the planet with little experience at heavyweight, a bad chin and not enough size for the division. I could ignore all of those factors and still give Haye a moderately good chance because of his awesome power.

Is Haye The Most Exciting Heavyweight In The Division or Just Another Glass-Jawed Fake?

haye45349By Manuel Perez: David Haye (22-1, 21 KOs) comes into the June 20th bout with IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko with a fearsome reputation earned mostly from Haye’s stint as a cruiserweight. At heavyweight, Haye has continued with his impressive knockouts, putting down both Tomasz Bonin and Monte Barrett, neither of which that will ever be mistaken as a champion.

Haye-Klitschko: Can David Scare Wladimir Into Losing?

wladimir88321By Matt Stein: In watching British heavyweight David Haye prepare for his bouts with Enzo Maccarinelli and Wladimir Klitschko, I’ve noticed that Haye likes to use a lot of intimidation in speaking about his opponents, often making bold threats about how he’s going to destroy them, questioning their manhood and other such nonsense. I understand that this generally goes with the territory for boxing and has become the accustomed rituals more or less before fights.
