Hennessy says he’s already spoken to Wladimir’s manager Bernd Boete about this, so it’s pretty much a done deal if Fury can get past Kevin Johnson this Saturday night in their fight in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Hennessy told the Mirror.co.uk “The fight with Wladimir will be a stadium fight and we would be looking to do it in May, June or July. Germany would be the favorite place for it to happen.”

I don’t think that was a good move by the WBC because this could set up a rematch between Johnson and Vitali, and we already saw Johnson get badly beaten by Vitali in 2009, and I don’t see anything changing in a second fight.

Although Fury has ran threw all of his opponents to date, he has yet to fight someone at real world level apart from (Derrick Chisora ) which in it’s self was questionable fight, Johnson has a great left hand and seems to have knockout power from what I have seen.

Even though I would not put Johnson at near the top of the heavyweight pile, I would not put Fury there either. Fury does not excite me as a fighter nor do I think he has what it takes to adopt a heavyweight world title.

Fury is willing to fight Wladimir in Germany so that he can have the home advantage. Fury doesn’t care. He just wants the fight. Fury prefers fighting Wladimir than waiting for WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko to retire and then going after his World Boxing Council strap, according to the Dailystar. Fury wants the opportunity to go after four world titles against Wladimir rather than just one strap with the WBC belt.

Johnson, 33, doesn’t have the fire power to prepare Fury for one of the Klitschko brothers, and Fury is kidding himself if he thinks this fight will get him ready for a fight of that magnitude. Heck, I don’t see Johnson as capable of preparing Fury even for a fight against Kubrat Pulev, a fighter who I consider a lot better than Fury. That’s who Fury should be fighting now, not Johnson.
