Lewis: Wladimir needs to win WBC title then retire

wladimir0843By Scott Gilfoid: Britain’s Lennox Lewis believes that IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) needs to beat Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) this Saturday night by bombing out the unbeaten 6’9″ fighter with a big right hand, and then go after the WBC title, which is currently held by Deontay Wilder (35-0, 34 KOs).

Lewis says Wladimir needs to try and win the WBC belt and then retire from the sport before age and injuries catches up to him. To be sure, Wladimir has recently started showing his age in his last two fights against Bryant Jennings and Kubrat Pulev.

Tyson Fury’s trainer says they’ve got a good plan to beat Klitschko

YouTube video

By Scott Gilfoid: Trainer Peter Fury believes that the plan that he’s got for his fighter Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) will be perfect for him to defeat IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) this Saturday night at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Peter is pretty confident that the plan will work to defeat Klitschko. It’s unclear what that plan could be though, because the fighting style that have derailed Wladimir in the past is heavy pressure and hard punches from sluggers. Fury isn’t a pressure fighter though, and he’s not a hard puncher.

Froch wants Fury to rough Klitschko up

fury455By Scott Gilfoid: Former super middleweight champion Carl Froch has serious doubts about Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) beating IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) in their fight this Saturday night at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Froch believes the 6’6” Klitschko will win a hard fought decision. However, Froch says he’d like to see Fury rough Klitschko up and make him earn his win the hard way by making it tough for him the full 12 rounds.

Tyson Fury says he wants to make Klitschko look like an imbecile

fury14By Scott Gilfoid: Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) is only days away from fighting in the biggest bout of his life against IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) this Saturday night at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

There’s all kinds of pressure on Fury in this fight because if he wins, he’ll be getting loads of sweet cash in a rematch with the 6’6” Ukrainian heavyweight. But if Fury gets whipped and knocked out badly by Klitschko like a lot of people think he will be, then his career will be the equivalent of a raging dumpster fire that no one will be able to put out.

Wladimir spars with Vitali to get ready for Fury

vitali4353By Scott Gilfoid: In what has to be seen as overkill, IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) used his 6’7” brother former WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko for several rounds of sparring to get ready for his title defense next Saturday night against the rangy 6’9” Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Vitali, 44, hasn’t fought since 2012, when he successfully defended his WBC heavyweight title by easily beating Manuel Charr in a mismatch. However, Vitali is still likely more than good enough to step inside the ring and beat the likes of Fury on short notice if he were to be the one fighting this Saturday night.

James Ali Bashir “Klitschko does things in front of his opponents they are unaware of!”

YouTube video
by Ingram Jones: Before this interview, I had a fair idea of how I was going to do my prediction video but then the phone rang and it was “Uncle” James Ali Bashir. It was a pretty good thing that he had rang because his comments about racism in boxing seemed to upset a few viewers and others were turned off that he was playing the race card. One particular tweeter commented that “Bashir is a bitter man, he was around the civil rights movement, racism isn’t in boxing, how can it be? Look at Mayweather & Pacquiao?”

Bashir a man who simply doesn’t mince his words, direct to the point alike Peter Fury another regular to BaylorIC TV. Boxing fans have grown tired of the soundbites, words for the camera and the showbusiness and want to hear the truth, what really is going on.

Fury: I’m going to have to destroy Klitschko

fury44By Scott Gilfoid: There will be a packed house on November 28th at the ESPRIT Arena in Dusseldorf, Germany, and Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) thinks he’s going to steal the crowd with his performance against IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs).

Fury acknowledges that the German crowd will be firmly in Wladimir’s favor in this fight, but he thinks that he’s going to have them cheering for him by the end of the fight. Personally, I think Fury is delusional with his thinking. He’s got a serious pipe dream going in thinking that he’s going to be marching out of the ring in Germany being cheered by an adoring crowd of Germans.

Fury doubts he’ll be given a decision over Klitschko

fury5666By Scott Gilfoid: #1 WBO Tyson Fury (24-0, 18 KOs) has his mind made up that he can’t win a decision in Germany over IBF/IBO/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (64-3, 53 KOs) due to him being a Brit and Klitschko being what he calls a “super champion.”

Fury seems to think that it’s impossible to beat the talented 6’6” Klitschko by a points decision, so he figures he’s got to go in there and try to score a knockout over the 39-year-old fighter. Klitschko has been knocked out three times in his career, but by big punchers each time.
