On Saturday night, the 29-year-old Arreola will be fighting former light heavyweight and cruiserweight Tomasz Adamek (40-1, 27 KO’s) at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, in Ontario, California. Arreola wanted to come in as light as possible, as he felt that he would have to run Adamek down during the fight.

Prediction: Arreola by 8th round TKO over Adamek

By Chris Williams: Heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (28-1, 25 KO’s) needs to beat Tomasz Adamek (41-1, 27 KO’s) this Saturday night if he wants to get another title shot in the near future. This bout is very important for Arreola. He was dominated by World Boxing Council (WBC) heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in a 10th round stoppage last year in September, and he can no longer afford to get beaten if he wants to stay in the running for another good payday, this one likely against IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko.

Arreola: “He [Adamek] is going to be a hit and run boxer”

Image: Arreola: “He [Adamek] is going to be a hit and run boxer”By Jason Kim: Heavyweight Chris Arreola (28-1, 25 KO’s) expects for Polish heavyweight Tomasz Adamek (40-1, 27 KO’s) to move a lot this Saturday in their fight at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, in Ontario, California. Arreola, 29, will have the youth and size advantage against the 33-year-old Adamek, who will probably come into the fight at a little better than 220. If Adamek comes in at 230, you can bet that he’ll be slower and less able to run the way that he’s accustomed to.

Image: Adamek vs. Arreola winner could face Wladimir Klitschko nextBy Jim Dower: The winner of this Saturday night’s fight between top heavyweight contenders Chris Arreola (28-1, 25 KO’s) and Tomasz Adamek (40-1, 27 KO’s) could be facing International Boxing Federation/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko next, according to news from the Los Angeles Times. Arreola and Adamek will be facing off at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, in Ontario, California. Klitschko, 34, likes what he sees in the big punching Arreola, saying “I was in my brother’s [WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko] corner when he beat Arreola in Staples. I can see Arreola has potential. Also, he’s rough around the edges. I’ll be watching Adamek-Arreola and the winner will be deserving of a shot at my belts.”

How would Haye do against the winner of Adamek vs. Arreola?

Image: How would Haye do against the winner of Adamek vs. Arreola?By Scott Gilfoid: Before facing the Klitschko brothers and likely getting totally destroyed, I think WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (24-1, 22 KO’s) should prove himself as a heavyweight by fighting the winner of the April 24th clash between Tomasz Adamek (40-1, 27 KO’s) vs. Chris Arreola (28-1, 25 KO’s). I think Haye, if he could beat the winner of this fight and look good in doing so, he would have at least shown that he deserves to be in the same ring with the Klitschko brothers. As of now, I think Haye doesn’t have any business fighting either of the Klitschko brothers because of his lack of experience.

Image: Arreola: "He's [Adamek] going to run all night"By Chris Williams: Heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (28-1, 25 KO’s) makes it pretty clear that he thinks that former International Boxing Federation cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (40-1, 27 KO’s) will be running from him when they meet on April 24th, at the Citizens Business Bank Arena, in Ontario, California. In their recent press conference Arreola, 28, said in an interview by Ring.tvt: “Of course he [Adamek] can handle my power. To me it really doesn’t matter. If you can carry your weight up, but will he? I don’t think so. I don’t think he’s going to fight me the way he fought in the cruiserweight and light heavyweight. He’s going to run a lot. I am going to chase him and be ready to go 12 rounds and chase him around the ring.”
