Roach sees Zbik as a tough opponent for Chavez Jr.

By Dan Ambrose: Freddie Roach feels that World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik (30-0, 10 KO’s) will be a very tough fight for his unbeaten fighter Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0-1, 30 KO’s), who faces the 29-year-old Zbik on June 4th at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, California.

Chavez Jr. vs. Zbik, Martirosyan vs. Roman on June 4th

By Dan Amrbrose: Unbeaten #1 World Boxing Council middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0-1, 30 KO’s) challenges WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik (30-0, 10 KO’s) on June 4th at the Staples Center, in Los Angeles, California. Also on the card will be unbeaten Vanes Martirosyan (29-0, 18 KO’s) facing #8 ranked WBC junior middleweight contender Saul Roman (34-8, 18 KOs) for the vacant WBC Silver junior middleweight title. By Eric Thomas: Number #1 ranked WBC middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (42-0-1, 30 KO’s) will be facing undefeated WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik (30-0, 10 KO’s) on June 4th without a tune-up bout to get ready for the fight. Chavez Jr., the son of former boxing world champion Julio Cesar Chavez, was supposed to be taking a tune-up fight against David Medina. It looks like they decided that fight was either too risky or wouldn’t given Chavez Jr. enough time to get ready for the title shot against Zbik.
