By Dan Ambrose: The WBO has approved a resolution against former WBO featherweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez (31-2, 28 KO’s) for his comments made against referee Roberto Ramirez Sr. for him stopping the fight last Saturday after a badly hurt Lopez had been knocked to the canvas in his 10th round TKO loss to WBO champion Orlando Salido. The referee stopped the fight because he judged Lopez to be too badly hurt to continue on.
