By Manuel Perez: For what it’s worth, World Boxing Association light welterweight champion Amir Khan thinks that Manny Pacquiao can beat Floyd Mayweather in the future, according to the Telegraph.co. “I think Manny [Pacquiao] might take the fight with his speed,” Khan said. However, the opinion doesn’t have much weight as far as I’m concerned because Khan, after all, does train with Pacquiao and has the same trainer Freddie Roach. It’s not like Khan’s a neutral observer or anything, like me.

He’s a fighter who started at 108 pounds and has reached 145. It is very bold and so far has gone well, but on November 14, it’ll be different.” This is the first person that has come forward and said exactly what I’ve thinking for a long time about Pacquiao since he started moving up in weight.

His trainer Freddie Roach said this to GMA News: “I would like (Manny) to finish with beating Mayweather.” Finish with beating Mayweather? What is that about? Pacquiao hasn’t even fought Miguel Cotto yet and already Roach is having visions of Mayweather. Someone needs to wake Roach out of his reverie and delusions of grandeur. Pacquiao is going to be picking up his teeth on November 14th when Cotto sends Pacquiao packing his bags for his political career.
