STAMFORD, Conn. – Mar. 2, 2015 – In five days, on Saturday, March, 7, boxing returns to primetime broadcast television with the debut of Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET. The debut of PBC on NBC features a pair of blockbuster bouts — Keith Thurman vs. Robert Guerrero, and Adrien Broner vs. John Molina Jr. — from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Blow-by-blow announcer Marv Albert and analyst “Sugar” Ray Leonard call the action. Al Michaels will host. Laila Ali and B.J. Flores serve as corner analysts, joined by reporter Kenny Rice.

By Dan Ambrose: WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman (24-0, 21 KOs) will be putting his unbeaten record on the line next Saturday night on March 7th in what could be the toughest fight of his career against former two division world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (32-2-1, 18 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Guerrero-Thurman fight will be televised on the inaugural Premier Boxing Champions card on NBC.

However, that doesn’t mean that the 26-year-old Thurman is the main champ for the WBA, because they’ve got Floyd Mayweather Jr, who the WBA calls their “Super World welterweight” champion.
