By Jim Dower: With little over a month to go before the September 19th fight between Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Juan Manuel Marquez, the bout is attracting little attention and rarely discussed at all on the internet. It’s as if the fight isn’t even taking place, because there is barely a peep being mentioned about the fight. That’s not a good sign for Mayweather, because the bout will be pay-per-view and will be competing with the UFC 103 event, which takes place on the same night for a lot less money.

We saw Manny Pacquiao score two knock downs before knocking Ricky Hatton out cold. And in not so recent times, boxing fans were stunned to see old master Bernard Hopkins school unbeaten knock-out artist, Kelly Pavlik and claim a unanimous points victory.
By Richard Bailey: Before I get started, let me just say that I don’t disagree with the fact that Floyd was the pound for pound king, because he definitely was. I just never could understand why his opponents weren’t the best in the latter part of his career as they were in the beginning? His speed and class, and the way he made fights look so easy made you either have a love or hate opinion of him. His victories at Super Featherweight made us all assume he would fight anyone.
By William Mackay: Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he pretty much finished Ricky Hatton as a fight in their December 2007 fight in which Mayweather stopped Hatton in the 10th round in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an article in The Sun, Mayweather says “Ricky fought everyone. Until he came up against me, he’d reached the highest plateau in boxing and then failed. But it’s ok, because at least Ricky tried.” Mayweather not content a little about this particular subjected, added “In life you need to take big risks to know who you are.”

Roach, the famous trainer for pound for pound boxer Manny Pacquiao, is looking forward to a future fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao and is already calculating a way for Pacquiao to beat the undefeated Mayweather.
