An angry Khan promising KO of Garcia on Saturday
(Photo: Naoki Fakuda) By William Mackay: WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan is angry with the constant badgering that WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia and his father Angel Garcia has done in the weeks leading up to the Khan-Garcia fight on Saturday night in Las Vegas, and Khan now wants to blast Garcia out to make a point. Khan usually doesn’t promise knockouts but he’s doing it this time because he’s fed up with the two of them.

Tabares replaced former conditioning coach Alex Ariza after he abruptly left camp in the Philippines where Khan was training with Manny Pacquiao in preparation for his fight with new WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.

Recently, Angel Garcia took it to another level when he said he’d never seen a fighter from Pakistan that can fight. Khan was actually born in the UK, not in Pakistan.
