Khan pleased with new conditioning coach
By John F. McKenna (McJack): Former WBA/IBF light welterweight champion Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) is more than pleased with the results of training under new conditioning coach Reuben Tabares. Tabares replaced former conditioning coach Alex Ariza after he abruptly left camp in the Philippines where Khan was training with Manny Pacquiao in preparation for his fight with new WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.
Khan: I want to Knock Garcia out and prove a point
By William Mackay: Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) doesn’t like the fact that WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (23-0, 14 KO’s) and his father Angel Garcia have both been trash talking him for weeks now. Recently, Angel Garcia took it to another level when he said he’d never seen a fighter from Pakistan that can fight. Khan was actually born in the UK, not in Pakistan.
Roach: Khan will neutralize Garcia’s offense by using movement
By William Mackay: Trainer Freddie Roach has spilled the beans about what his fighter Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) will be doing to try and defeat unbeaten WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (23-0, 14 KO’s) on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roach plans on having Khan use a lot of movement to keep the 24-year-old Garcia from landing his shots.

Khan in make or break fight against Garcia on Saturday
By William Mackay: Amir Khan (26-2, 18 KO’s) was worn down in his last fight against Lamont Peterson and soundly beaten by him last December. On Saturday night, Khan will be fighting WBC light welterweight champion Danny Garcia (23-0, 14 KO’s) at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Khan can’t afford another loss because his excuses won’t work next time around.
