(Photo credit: Tom Casino/Showtime) By Dan Ambrose: You have to admit that WBA welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi (32-4, 7 KO’s) has done a good job of talking up his fight tonight against challenger Adrien Broner (26-0, 22 KO’s) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. It’s just too bad that Broner will likely destroy the 32-year-old Malignaggi.
ESPN analyst Teddy Atlas is one of many people who see Broner as simply being too strong for the light hitting Malignaggi to beat.
Atlas said last night on ESPN “Paulie Malignaggi isn’t a puncher, and for people who think he has a chance in what would be a pretty significant upset, if they’re looking for him to be the bigger fighter, wrong.
