By Wahid Ali: I’ve been following Amir Khan ever since he rose to prominence and won a silver medal as a 17 year old kid at the 2004 Olympic Games – a great achievement. Although like many, I thought he was over hyped when he turned pro and got his just deserves when he did his ‘chicken dance’ against Breidis Prescott, where Khan was blasted to jelly in 54 seconds.
Since that fight, Khan did redeem himself by taking on some exciting and risky fights against top opponents such as Marco Antonio Barrera, Andriy Kotelnik Paulie Malignaggi, Marcos Maidana and Zab Judah, all who have been champions – even if some writers here don’t agree.
