By Matt: Floyd Mayweather is often called a cherry picker or he is said to be ducking opponents. In this article I would like to take a closer look at these accusations and compare Mayweather achievements to Pacquiao’s.
In 2001 Mayweather fought Diego Corrales at that time was 24 years old, in his prime and undefeated. Was Corrales cherry picked? I don’t thinks so.
In 2002 the Mayweather- Castillio fight was a rather close one but prior to the fight Mayweather had injured his shoulder; nevertheless, Mayweather won that fight. This was not an easy fight for Mayweather still he choose to give Castillo a rematch and win more convincingly the second fight. There was no cherry picking here.
