I'm a lifelong boxing fan who avidly follows the sport. My dad was a boxer in the United States Army as well as a boxing trainer after the fact. He instilled in me, a love for Boxing from a very young age. Up to the day of his death it was something we commonly bonded over, discussed, and enjoyed as father and son. He often used fights to teach me things about boxing, explaining what was going on, what was going to happen and why; all of it as apart of my boxing education through the years learning from the greatest fighters of our time as well as boxing's great legends. I have a deep love and appreciation for boxing that stands as a monument not only to my dad and the sport itself, but to what the two of them have always represented and stood for at their core. Khan vs. Collazo: Amir’s moment of truth

Are we supposed to believe that beating Collazo will prove anything substantive to the case of Khan? Furthermore, were we at any point seriously supposed to believe that Khan was a formidable opponent for Floyd Mayweather? I’m not sure which question is a bigger joke.

At one time, Khan looked like a promising prospect in the eyes of many, but as time has revealed that was all smoke and mirrors. What we are left with is the ‘Khan Man’ who managed to look good in carefully selected fights until his one dimensional style was exposed. By the way, what was all the hype about? Do you remember? There had to be some fights that put this guy on the map right? So what were they? Who did he really beat? Let’s take a deeper look into that and refresh our memories.

The Whole Truth: Pacquiao – Bradley

pac734I have had it up to my eyebrows listening to so-called writers, columnists, experts, and fans talking about Manny Pacquiao – Tim Bradley. Cutting to the chase, it’s been a load of garbage from all angles. A million talking heads blathering on from a specific place located approximately three feet south of the mouth on the opposite side of their body. Sometimes a word of truth is spoken, most of the time there’s very little. Meanwhile vast amounts to insipid conjecture flood cyberspace as well as the very air we breath tainting both in the process. I come bearing the latter.
