Joshua Buatsi vs. Dan Azeez for WBA World Title Final Eliminator – Feb 3rd at OVO Arena Wembley, live on Sky Sports – The Peacock live stream in the US begins at 2pm ET

The fight we’ve all been waiting for (well, at least those who follow light heavyweight boxing) is finally happening. Joshua Buatsi and Dan Azeez are locking horns at OVO Arena Wembley on February 3rd. Remember this date because it’s going to be one heck of a night. This fight, a real crowd-puller, was supposed to happen back on October 21st at The O2. But, surprise, surprise, Azeez hurt his back. So, here we are, after a bit of a delay and a venue switch.

Now, for the stats. Buatsi, the guy with the squeaky-clean record of 17-0 and a knack for knocking people out (13 KOs, to be exact), is all set to take on Azeez. And Azeez? He’s no slouch either, standing tall at 20-0, with a slightly higher KO count of 13. This isn’t just any fight; it’s a major event, people. It’s being broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland, and for our friends in the USA, Peacock’s got you covered.

Originally, these two were supposed to dance on January 13th at The O2. But, thanks to a little scheduling hiccup with another light heavyweight world title fight, they had to shuffle the calendar. Also, Azeez’s coach, Buddy McGirt, is a busy man, also training Callum Smith, who was fighting in that other bout.

Ben Shalom, the big boss at BOXXER, can’t stop talking about how excited he is for this fight. It’s not just about the WBA World Light Heavyweight Title; it’s about London pride. Both Buatsi and Azeez are Londoners, and they’re not just fighting for a title; they’re fighting to see who’s the king of the London light heavyweights.

Buatsi’s in fighting form, ready to show he’s the boss. Azeez, meanwhile, is just happy he gets another shot at glory, feeling stronger and more ready than ever.

Ticket holders from the original date, don’t sweat it. You can get your money back if the new date doesn’t work for you. And for everyone else who wants a piece of the action, check out BOXXER.com for presale details.

Give us the dirt on Buatsi and Azeez.
Joshua Buatsi, right, he’s as tough as they come. British lad, born on March 14, 1993. He Stands 6’2″, with a reach that could smack you from the other side of the pub. Undefeated in 17 fights, with 13 KOs to his name. Dan Azeez, another tough Brit, born August 30, 1989. A bit shorter at 5’10”, but don’t let that fool you. His reach is a mystery, but he’s knocked out 13 outta 20 fights he’s been in. No losses, just like Buatsi.
