In the Main Event NABF Super Middle champ Erik Bazinyan, 32-0 (23), #168, of Quebec, CAN, stopped Billi Facundo Godoy, 41-8 (20), #166 ¼, of Centenario, ARG, at 2:23 of the second round of a scheduled 10 rounds.

In the first round it was all Bazinyan who pushed Godoy to the canvas near the end of the round without warning from the Referee. In the second round a chopping right from Bazinyan on the chin and down went Godoy who quit on his knees.

In the co-feature southpaw Albert Ramirez, 18-0 (15), #174 ¾, of El Viga, VZ, easily defeated late sub Artur Ziyiatdinov, 15-2 (12), #174 ¼, of Tashkent, UZB, Montreal, CAN, over 10 one sided rounds.

In the first round it was all Ramirez while Ziyiatdinov hardly threw a punch. In the second round Ramirez rocked Ziyiatdinov at the midway point. In the final seconds Ramirez rocked Ziyiatdinov with a left on the chin. In the third rounds final seconds a left to the body followed by a right from Ramirez rocked Ziyiatdinov.

In the fourth and fifth rounds Ziyiatdinov continues to go through the motions of looking to get through each round with no offense. In the sixth and seventh rounds Ramirez starts to slow down but Ziyiatdinov didn’t take advantage of it.

In the eighth and ninth rounds it continues looking like a sparring session. In the tenth and final round Ramirez continued winning the rounds due to having no opponent fighting back. Referee Chris Young warned Ziyiatdinov for hitting behind the head of Ramirez. Somehow the commentators thought it was a close fight. Ziyiatdinov would be fortunate to get paid.

Scores were 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92 and 100-90 KH.

NABF and WBO Int’l Super Light champ ‘The Dragon’ Steve Claggett, 38-7-2 (26), #142, of Calgary, Alberta, CAN, stopped Marcos ‘Papitas’ Gonzalez, 23-4 (11), #141, of Ciudad, Chihuahua, MEX, after two rounds of a scheduled 8 rounds.

In the first two rounds it was all Claggett having Gonzalez on the defense. The corner of Gonzalez wouldn’t allow him out for the third round.

In the third round Mathieu continued landing punch after punch with little return from Quintana.

In the fourth round a right from Mathieu on the chin rocked Quintana who grabbed Mathieu not to hit the canvas as the corner called a halt forcing Referee Yvon Goulet to wave it off.
