Gervonta Davis tells Ryan Garcia: “Stop juicing!”

By Jake Tiernan: Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis & Ryan Garcia went at it tonight on social media following Tank’s earlier comments ripping apart the popular Golden Boy fighter, saying he suspected that he’s been “juicing” because of how big he’s gotten.

Tank then warned Ryan to “stop juicing” because he’ll find out about it. What seemed to anger Ryan was Tank saying that some fighters use mental health to “get out of stuff.

Although Tank (27-0, 25 KOs) didn’t mention Ryan’s name specifically, it was assumed that he was talking about him because last year, Kingry pulled out of his fight with Javier Fortuna due to mental health issues.

Some boxing fans at the time saw Ryan using mental health as a way to duck the Fortuna fight at the time.

Ryan and Tank after off to an early start in promoting their April 15th fight with the trash-talking they’re doing. Interestingly, Tank is talking more about Ryan Garcia than he is his next opponent Hector Luis Garcia for their January 7th fight.

Tank also took a shot at Ryan (23-0, 19 KOs) about his decision not to take a tune-up right. He felt it was a mistake on Ryan’s part, and he said it was laziness on his part for not staying active instead of just waiting for their fight in April.

Ryan should be taking a tune-up because he needs to be sharp for this fight, and it looks terrible that he’s chosen to just wait on the Tank fight. If Ryan were an old guy, it would be understandable for him to preserve his aging body until the Tank fight, but he’s only 23.

Some boxing fans on social media have come up with their own opinion, thinking that Ryan chose not to take a tune-up because they think he’s juicing.

It would be a disaster if Ryan were to test positive for PEDs because boxing fans are looking forward to the Tank-Ryan fight on April 15th.

Tank is fighting next month against Hector Garcia (16-0, 10 KOs) on January 7th on Showtime PPV at the Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C. This is going to be a tough fight for Tank, and possibly even harder than his match against Ryan in April.

Hopefully, Ryan doesn’t pull out of the Tank fight because there will be a lot of disappointed people.
