By Allan Fox: Ryan Garcia chimed in with his view of Canelo Alvarez’s loss last Saturday night against Dmitry Bivol, saying he got beaten “fairly easy” in his attempt to unseat the WBA light heavyweight champion.

Some fans believe that Ryan was waiting for  Canelo to lose after the way that he took a shot at him in the media.

If Ryan is bitter about Canelo’s criticism of him, it must have been too tempting to resist for him to blast the Mexican star on Twitter at the lowest moment of his career.

The way the famous social media star Ryan commented on Canelo’s loss to Bivol, some boxing fans believe he was happy about the defeat, seemingly enjoying the Mexican superstar getting knocked off his high-horse.

Only Ryan knows whether he was pleased with seeing Canelo taste defeat. The two fighters no longer share the same gym, and it’s unclear whether they still speak in the aftermath of Canelo’s comments about Ryan.

Some boxing fans believe Canelo was green with envy at the attention that Ryan was getting from fans and the adoration that he was receiving from young teens, many of them throwing themselves at him.

Ryan was obviously 100% correct in his view of Canelo getting beaten “fairly easy” by the undefeated Bivol (20-0, 11 KOs), as he appeared to lose 10-2 in the view of many boxing fans, although the judges embarrassingly scored it 7-5.

Most fans agree that Canelo won only two rounds in the fight and looked utterly overmatched against Bivol.

“Congratulations, Bivol, you are a great dedicated and disciplined fighter. Great performance!!!! #CaneloBivol.

Some of you are thinking I disrespected Canelo. He’s a legend and a great fighter. I simply gave an honest assessment of the fight and gave props to Bivol; what are some of you on about?” said Ryan.

Recently, Canelo took a shot at Ryan during an interview, criticizing the unbeaten lightweight contender for his work ethic and wanting him to work harder at his craft.

“He’s wasting a lot of time and wasting his talent. I look at him and don’t see him 100% dedicated and, to us, that’s a bad signal,” said Canelo to Complex.

Ryan (22-0, 18 KOs) will be fighting in July, potentially against the dangerous slugger Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz on DAZN. This would be a big step up in class for Ryan, who hasn’t fought anyone of note other than Luke Campbell.

I can’t wait till I get the chance to show how much of a great fighter I am; I’m sure I’ll get that chance soon,” said Ryan Garcia.
