By Dan Esch: The anticipated return of boxing on FREE T.V. is steadily rising this week day after day. The fighters are already in Las Vegas for fight week the Casinos are accepting bets on the fights and hotel rooms are seeing more action. If you look on YOUTUBE videos from all angles of Pre-fight press conferences have been posted throughout the days. The fighters all seem to be in good spirits and some like Adrien Broner are already talking trash.

Now on to bigger news Al Haymon has done it again premiering tonight at 11:00pm on Spike T.V. is “Lights Out” which is similar to HBO 24/7 and Showtime’s All Access. This new show “Lights Out” will give viewers a compelling behind-the-scenes- view of each action-packed event and the training before fight night. In this premier episode of, “Lights Out”it travels to Andre Berto’s training camp in Union City, California as he prepares for one of the biggest fights oh his career.

The special also showcases Berto’s humanitarian side, as he takes a trip to help those in his native Haiti. Berto’s opponent the hard-hitting Josesito Lopez is also featured, as viewers get a glimpse of his rugged and grueling training regimen in snowy Big Bear Lake. “Lights Out” then heads to Sin City as rising star Shawn “Showtime” Porter trains in the Las Vegas heat with a rigorous training program inside the ring and on the track. The show provides a glimpse of his close relationship with his father and trainer, Kenny Porter.

“Lights Out” then chronicles Roberto Garcia’s incredible rise from tragedy and personal hardship to the precipice of boxing stardom. For those that have missed it PBC on NBC will show an encore presentation of “Corner to Corner” the first All access / 24/7 style show which aired a few weeks ago and from the reviews the show was great and a success.

At 6:00 p.m. boxing fans should also tune in to NBCSN for the “weigh-in” of Saturdays matches which airs prior to “Corner to Corner” NBCSN on cable “IO” is channel 146 and Ch 590 on Verizon (New York) not the regular NBC channel. As a side note once again guys I say tune in to these programs because more ratings means more boxing programs in the future which brings the sport back to the front of the line in professional sports.
