Does anyone out there doubt that Mayweather Junior has always made easy work of his opponents? Does anybody out there surely doubt that Mayweather is a class above the rest?

I seem to have a feeling that there is serious luck of competition out there for Floyd Mayweather Jnr, such that whoever he fights, some section of the fans will always trash his opposition looking at the ease at which he beats them. Do not be fooled, all these fighters Mayweather is beating are looking good going into the fight.

They are all young and coming off impressive wins and most are champions with belts too. What all this means is that, whatever name people throw at Mayweather, things quickly change after the fight.

I have watched tapes of a number of great fighters of the past, I am sorry to say that they did have a heart to fight, but Floyd is right there with them as an all-time great. These fighters went into wars brutally knocking each other out in more savagery ways than in pure art. A good number were polished boxers, but the majority were bangers and swingers with lots of power.

Mayweather is a phenomenon, skilled to the last detail and physically strong too. Mayweather actually moves a step further than the old great fighters, because he brings in technique of fighting that combines solid defence and learned and measured offence in an amazing way.

When Mayweather measures and figures you out, he then disarms you. What he does best is to dis arm you, no matter what arsenal you may possess. When you are disarmed, you become naked and the end becomes inevitable. No one is talking of Mayweather’s legs as having slowed down after the Guerrero fight. No one is talking about Mayweather’s age anymore.

All we saw is that Mayweather is as sharp and more mature as before. Lucas Matthysse beat Peterson and he looked good doing so. His name, alongside Canelo is being floated as the only fighters that are dangerous enough to beat Mayweather. Surprisingly, even before Mayweather has picked his next opponent, the accusations are already strife that he is avoiding these two fighters.
