Image: Kell Brook to prove why he’s one of the best welterweights in the world tonightBy Marcus Stewart: Upcoming welterweight Kell Brook is in a final eliminator for the IBF title as he takes on Hector Saldivia tonight in Sheffield at the Motorpoint Arena. Kell Brook is ranked as the 3rd best welterweight in the world and I can see why.

Brook has blown away practically all of his opponents with slick boxing skills and tremendous punching power. Even against Carson Jones, when he wasn’t completely fit for the fight, he managed to scrounge the victory out like the true British warrior that he is.

Kell will likely beat Saldivia comfortably tonight and that will leave him with either Devon Alexander or Randall Bailey to face for the IBF crown. Both of these Americans are extremely overrated with very little talent. Devon Alexander has shown he can be hit and has no heart after quitting against Timothy Bradley and Randall Bailey only relies on his power showing just how one dimensional he is. If Brook faces either of these guys the talented Brit would take these two Americans apart.

Kell Brook is the new generation of boxing. He has it all, heart, determination, skill, power and speed. He is going to be a problem for anyone and if I’m honest either Bailey or Alexander are better off handing the title to Brook because if I’m honest neither of them have a chance of beating this exceptional talent which is “Special” Kell Brook. Britain is showing just why it’s dominating the boxing scene at this moment in time.
