Hatton, who is making his comeback on November 24th, isn’t interested in facing Khan right now anyway, although he is interested in fighting him in the future.

Khan said on his site Amirkhanworld.com “Ricky’s a good friend of mine…Down the line you never know what can happen in the sport, and if it makes sense, and our paths cross, then you can never rule out the possibility of us sharing the ring.”

Khan has bigger worries than fighting Hatton. Khan’s career is on the bring of implosion after two straight losses. He needs to stop that losing streak and look good in the process. It doesn’t look like he’s going to be given a freebie for his fight by HBO by them letting him take an easy opponent for the December 15th fight. They already rejected Juan Guzman and Humberto Soto, which means that Khan is going to have to take on a good fighter if he intends on fighting on the network on December 15th.

Dan Rafael is reporting that Khan’s contract with HBO has expired as of his loss to Danny Garcia, but they’re still interested in having Khan’s next fight televised, albeit as long as it’s against someone they approve of first. If Golden Boy Promotions can’t get HBO to agree to an easy option for Khan, we could see one of two things – Khan deciding not to fight on HBO for December 15th date or to take a dangerous opponent and risk getting put out of his misery. A third straight loss would put Khan into the journeyman category and it would be difficult for him to turn his career around from there, especially if he gets knocked out again.
