Image: Bradley likely next for Pacquiao, says advisorBy Chris Williams: Manny Pacquiao’s legal adviser Fanklin Gacal thinks that WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley (29-0, 12 KO’s) will be the lucky fighter that gets the big payday bout against Pacquiao on November 10th in Las Vegas, Nevada rather than other contestants Juan Manuel Marquez and Miguel Cotto.

Gacal told Philstar.com “I think it’s Bradley [that will face Pacquiao next]. There’s a score to settle.”

I didn’t need Gacal to say what I what I can already predict. Pacquiao probably didn’t like getting beaten by Bradley last June and that burning desire in Pacquiao to try and avenge the loss to the American will likely cause him to take that fight over much better paying rematches against Miguel Cotto and Juan Manuel Marquez. I know which fight I would choose if Pacquiao.

I’d take the better cash against Cotto or Marquez over a smaller payday against Bradley. Of course, Cotto and Marquez are much more difficult fights for the Filipino in my estimation, so I can kind of see how Pacquiao might not be in a real big hurry to fight either one of those guys in November.

Pacquiao didn’t take a lot of punishment in his loss to Bradley compared to his fights against Marquez and Cotto. Pacquiao looked kind of beat up after those fights, and I doubt he’s thrilled at the idea of facing either one of them again.

Bradley could be a mistake for Pacquiao because the next time they fight Bradley will have two good angles and feet working for him, and that’s going to make it hell for Pacquiao to try and beat him. Bradley already said he now knows exactly what Pacquiao does every round, and it will be easier to fight him a second time.

I have to agree with Bradley. Pacquiao is totally predictable now that he’s 33, lost a step and doesn’t do much in every round. All Bradley has to do to beat Pacquiao again is outwork him and then stay away from him in hte last part of every round when Pacquiao attempts to steal the round with a furious flurry.
