McKenna (McJack): British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion undefeated David Price (13-0, 11 KO’s) has the tools to give the Klitschko brothers problems down the road. The 29 year old Price at 6’8 with an 82” reach definitely has the size to compete with either of the Klitschko’s.

Price, who is being carefully guided up the heavyweight ladder will face Audley Harrison (28-5, 21 KO’s) on October 13 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. Although Price presently in no big hurry to climb into the ring with either of the Klitshko’s, Roach believes that even at this early date he would pose problems for either Vitali or Wladimir.

WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO and Ring Magazine heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (58-3, 51 KO’s) has the ability to knock out an opponent with one punch and can do so with either hand. Although most boxing observers see Wladimir’s right hand as his greatest threat, a couple of years ago he knocked out a very defensive minded Eddie Chambers (26-3, 18 KO’s) with a single left hook with just seconds remaining in the 12th round.

Harrison won the Olympic Gold medal at super heavyweight in Sydney in 2000. Audley is 6’6” and has a reach of 86”. Other than his size he presently has little going for him. Since the Olympics Harrison has done very little to distinguish himself. He disgraced himself in November 2010 when he was stopped by David Haye in the 3rd round seemingly without throwing a punch. It was thought by many that Harrison would retire after his performance against Haye. But he is back again where he has been relegated to being little more than a trial horse. Boxing pundits give him very little chance against the up and coming Price.

Price is among the fighters who have acknowledged in the last several months that they are not yet ready to take on a Klitschko. Back in the days of Dempsey, Louis, Marciano and Ali it was unthinkable for fighter to turn down a fight for the heavyweight title. But in the era of the Klitschko’s it happens with alarming regularity.
