By Gerardo Granados: Tim Bradley is a good boxer, he is undefeated, former WBO and WBC light welterweight champion but for the welter division he is small being only 5´6” height and 69” reach, he has good footwork but not blazing speed, not great power although has a good chin, average defense and for sure is hungry for fame and glory but does not have great experience or ring smarts.

Why was Timothy picked by team Pacquiao? Why didn’t team Pacquiao picked Mike Jones instead? Jones has been the mandatory challenger for Pacman for over a year now, he is 6´0” height and 72” reach, undefeated and looks like a natural welterweight, unfortunately he does not have a big fan base to push him to a big fight yet.

After his last fight, Pacman must look good so boxing fans forget he was awarded the victory against Juan Manuel Marquez in a fight that he clearly lost, so he had to pick very carefully his next opponent. But is Tim Bradley tailor made for him? Tim often drop his guard, leaves big holes when he attacks, maybe he does it because he relies on his chin; he is effective against coming forward fighters with not great mobility; he is not a great counter puncher and has average power, although he has great stamina and is determined to win.

Has Manny lost his motivation, he does have a lot of distractions and his last man of god distraction may be the result of his lack of interest in the sport that gave him the chance to become a star inside and out side the ring. For a fighter his first and only goal is to achieve greatness and also to earn a ton of money but to allow to be distracted by so many things its quite alarming.

Perhaps Tim was picked because he is a good challenger but he might not be the most dangerous of all, but not the less he has the chance of his life time to become a world wide boxing star if he defeats one of the most glorified and famous names on the business.

Bradley can only defeat Pacquiao if he is able to knock him out, because in case the fight is close or even not so close the winner will be the one who is favored by the betting odds.

Manny is vulnerable, he gets hit with quite ease, his strength is his speed, mobility and bizarre power at welterweight, Pacquiao will never be considered as a crafty skilled boxer, he depends on his physical performance to win. Bradley might look to be tailor made for Pacquiao but there is only one reason why he was picked and it is because team Pacquiao believes Manny can defeat him but by doing so they might have underestimated a driven fighter who has only one priority in boxing.

The reader must have picked the winner yet, as for me I´ll pick the boxing fans to win. Don´t forget to score the fight at home because we all could be surprised with the fight official score cards. As for Tim being tailor made for Manny, well we will find out next June 9th.
