Harrison is hoping to use a win over the 30-year-old Adams as a springboard to get fights against Tyson Fury, Dereck Chisora and David Price. In other words, Harrison is hoping he can move on to bigger and better things if he can impress against Adams.

There’s little question that Harrison will beat Adams as long as he lets his hands go and doesn’t fight as passive as he did in his last bout against WBA heavyweight champion David Haye in November 2010. Harrison says he was injured before that fight he chose to take it anyway rather than postponing the fight to heal up.

But whatever the truth is, Harrison doesn’t need to worry too much about Adams because he’s someone that Harrison can probably take out in two or three rounds if he attacks Adams with some aggression early in the fight. Adams hasn’t fought anyone near as good as Harrison, and this is going to be a significant step up for Adams in taking this fight. In the fights I’ve seen of Adams, he looks like a good one round fighter.

He can fight well for about one round and then he starts clinching and throwing few punches. He’ll throw a punch and then clinch. He’s not someone that will be able to stand up to Harrison and trade shots. All Harrison has to do is make sure he throws his left hand with conviction and he should be able to get Adams out of there.

Adams resume is lacking in a big way. Of Adams’ 17 fights, he’s fought 11 of them against fighters with losing records. Another fight came against an opponent with a 0-0 record, and one came against an opponent with a 4-4 record. That leaves only four opponents with winning records on Adams’ resume. That suggests that he’s going to be out of his class on Saturday night against Harrison.
