By Gerardo Granados: It’s been a while now since the last time I saw boxing related comments full of joy on a boxing site. Yeah it is true, on this site boxing experts like McJack deserve all the respect; he writes balanced articles and for sure has vast boxing history knowledge. Manuel Perez was a site icon, he was biased but it was entertaining to read his articles.
I am not a boxing expert I am just a boxing fan who has a lot of fun watching a good fight, I will say what I think but I will do it with respect to the reader and boxers involved because fighters risk their health and even their lives when they enter the ring.
I write boxing articles as a hobby, I respect the opinion of the readers but on times it seems like they take things to serious and are too critical. What is wrong? This is not a politics site or an economy debate group.
I will admit on times I do have “trolled” the readers, but it should be fun to make a joke or to make a crazy statement. I will never intend to make people angry to start a keyboard war, but on times there will be no need to troll to get people angry.
Boxing must be fun, it better be fun otherwise why would we watch it?
It seems like few boxing fans get mad over a simple boxing comment or post. There are thing more important as world famine or global warming that need to be taken more serious. Hey, to put meal on the table for your children is the most important thing to do so boxing posts should be intended to distract your mind from important issues.
Do you remember the last time you took things lightly regarding a boxing post? I bet the majority of readers do it all the time but there are a few whom need to relax and enjoy a beer while watching a good fight or even while reading a boxing post.
Now I am thirsty so I better pop a cold lager beer, after all I am just an average citizen as the reader himself. Have a nice day.
