The boxing public doesn’t care a fig about this match-up and it’s not even being talked about because no one is giving Bradley any chance of winning because of his lack of size, power and speed.

He’s like a smaller version of Pacquiao after you’ve removed the speed and power and altered his fighting style to be more of a crashing forward type of fighter. It’s just not a good match-up on paper. Bradley has no fan base to speak of, hasn’t been able to sell out even small venues and can’t carry his own side for a pay-per-view fight against Pacquiao.

Arum has taken criticism for letting fights marinate too long before making them, but this is clearly a fight that needed a lot more marinating in the broth before thrusting it on the boxing public and expecting them to scoop it up happily and pay the hefty $54.99 price tag on PPV. I don’t want to pay that kind of money for a mismatch and I see this as a huge mismatch. Bradley is more dangerous with his head than his fists and he doesn’t have the power to compete with Pacquiao. He doesn’t have the size either and that makes it even worse, because the other guys Pacquiao fought were at least bigger than him, even if they were kind of shot fighters. Bradley is smaller than Pacquiao and doesn’t have any area where he has any advantages.

Bradley said this about seeing Pacquiao face to face, as quoted by examiner.com “It was pretty funny to stand away from him and to look him eye to eye and see this mean face. And I just laughed. I just had to laugh because I am like that’s Manny Pacquiao, this dude he couldn’t even hurt a fly, but I know it’s different once he steps foot in that ring.”

Bradley sounds almost star struck. See what I mean? He’s not ready for this. He doesn’t have the tools or the experience and is being pushed out there by Arum because he’s already pretty much exhausted his entire Top Rank stable by putting them in with Pacquiao one after another, only to see them get decimated.
