Image: Khan: The only sure way for Froch to beat Ward is to KO himBy Scott Gilfoid: Amir Khan is starting to sound more and more like a spoiled sport after losing his two titles against Lamont Peterson last weekend. Although he keeps says he’s not complaining about the loss, that’s all he’s been doing since he lost a close decision to Peterson.

Now Khan’s poison is leaking over to fellow countryman WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch, who Khan feels may need a knockout in order for Froch to ensure he gets the win over the American.

Khan said this to thesun.co.uk “Carl will have seen what happened with the referee and judges robbing me. The only sure way for him [Froch] to win is if he can take Ward out inside the distance. If it goes to points he had better hope he is so far out of sight they couldn’t possibly go for Ward.

Wow! What a positively jaded one Khan has become. He almost sounds sick with his conspiracy theories. Initially it was just the referee who he feels cheated him but now all three of the judges? So sad. Khan doesn’t realize how badly he fought last Saturday and is blaming the ref and judges for not giving him a decision he didn’t earn in the ring. Pathetic if you ask me. And now Khan is going to try and poison Froch with his bile.

Here’s the thing, Froch is going to need a knockout but not because he’s going to get ripped off by the judges or the referee. It’s because he doesn’t have the talent to out box Ward. Froch is too slow and clumsy to out box a talent like Ward. Really, Froch’s only chance is to try and KO Ward, and if that doesn’t happen, he’s going to lose every round of the fight. This is going to be a shutout victory. It’s going to be so one-sided that even Khan will be nodding his head with respect for Ward’s talent.
