By Gerardo Granados: Zab Judah simply did not showed to fight, he was not only stopped by KO 5 by a better fighter tonight; he was dominated by the young champion who had won all rounds before the stoppage.
It won’t matter what does Tim Bradley can argue because as for today the best light welterweight in the division is Amir Khan.
Since the beginning of the fight Amir dominated Judah, who was not able to deal with Amir speed or even land a punch that could hurt Khan. On round 5 Amir connected Zab with a hard right to the body that landed just on the border of the belt line and Judah fall to his knees; after seen the replay for some it was clear that the punch was not a low blow, but for sure for Zab fans they must have seen the punch as a low blow.
Khan unified the IBF and WBA World light welterweight titles and could end up moving up in weight to challenge Floyd Mayweather Jr. or Manny Pacquiao, because at light welter he is been avoided by the top fighters in the division just as Tim Bradley did and there are not many good fights left for him at that weight.
Cheers to the legit light welterweight champion Amir “King” Khan.
