Does Wladimir warrant the right to be boasting?

Image: Does Wladimir warrant the right to be boasting?By Aaron Scully: After the victory over Former WBA Heavyweight Champion David Haye (25-2 23KO’s) why Wladimir Klitschko can boast in what only seems on judges’ scorecards to be a dominant win.

After analyzing the fight you will see Haye was never that far behind in any round other than rounds 9, 10 and 11 while watching the fight people could see that Haye was only edged out of rounds and had he thrown a handful more would of won them and maybe the fight, what also impressed me was how well Haye worked defensively keeping Wladimir from jabbing him to death has people tell him he should keep his hands up I think not Calzaghe was the same and his defensive record shows it pays off if you look how much he made Wladimir miss he weren’t far from what he was telling people that Wladimir jab won’t touch him.

I think had Wladimir not played so safe the outcome could of been a lot different whether it be for his good or David Haye, but the only reason Hayes punch statistics where so low of percentage is due to Klitschko not staying in range and running from Haye whenever he let his hands go.

I think if Wladimir wants to feel good about a victory over David Haye I think he will have to fight him again as I am only impressed with the victory for Wladimir Klitschko as it was his hardest bout but narrowly won the rounds.

Maybe we will have the rematch soon hopefully without Genaro Rodriguez as referee as I think this was a factor in amount of punches Haye could throw and land due to constant fouls by Wladimir such as throwing Haye and putting pressure to back off his neck with his elbow causing Haye to drop to the canvas, I’d only seen Wladimir punished with point deduction once in this fight where as Haye was punished with a standing count which in effect is a 2 point deduction was severely unfair as seen as though he was clearly thrown to ground by the 6ft 6inch Ukrainian which should of been a warning of disqualification for such a dangerous foul taking in mind the point deduction from the previous round.

In a very early prediction on a rematch I don’t think Wladimir can offer anything more to a fight and should there be a rematch with a fairer referee I think David can win by KO early as I think he may take more risk as he had done so well in taking the best punches Wladimir could throw and he knows he can hurt Wladimir himself, I don’t by the toe excuse as Haye was clearly hurting Wladimir anytime he landed and the 3rd and 12th round shows how the fight could of been if Haye was able to get more shots off, I think though Haye should go straight after Vitali Klitschko while the offers are there as I think this would be a the easier task against a less mobile version of Wladimir and chin of Vitali doesn’t matter because when Haye lands his shots he has the power knockout anyone with this win would force Wladimir to fight.
