By Francisco Hernandez: After the sleeper between Timothy Bradley vs. Devon Alexander, it is understandable that many fans believe both fighters are way below the skill level needed to win against the best junior welters. Timothy Bradley exposed Devon Alexander for what this writer has always observed of Alexander, he is a mentally weak fighter, incapable of controlling a fight against more intelligent opponents. Bradley looked like he always looks, ugly as hell, but he wins his fights.

Timothy Bradley is a wily street fighter; he does whatever it takes to win a fight. Bradley has an ugly style of fighting, he is unorthodox, and he is closer to a street fighter than he is a boxer. Against a master boxer like Floyd Mayweather, Bradley would be rendered helpless. Against a non-stop boxer-puncher like Manny Pacquiao, Bradley would be brutally kayoed. But against average fighters like Amir Khan, Bradley will win. Amir Khan is just another version of Devon Alexander, with less of a chin. These types of fighters just don’t have sufficient boxing skills needed to beat an unorthodox street fighter like Bradley.

Timothy Bradley is more intelligent than Amir Khan that is why he can beat Khan. Khan has not been able to overcome his ingrained Olympic style of fighting, when things become intense, Khan reverts back to his ingrained habits of throwing a few light survival punches and then running a la Olympic. Bradley is a street fighter and Olympic style boxing will not work against him. Bradley will be a wild cat all over Khan, until Khan quits just like his twin Devon Alexander.

Timothy Bradley is not fun to watch, yeah he has an ugly style of street fighting, but he is strong as hell, and he will beat you unless you know how to fight like an old school boxer.
