Mosley was unable to win either of those fights and looked all of his 39-years, if not older.

Still, Mosley was picked as Pacquiao’s opponent for May 7th anyway. It doesn’t seem to matter than Mosley looks old and shot. He’s been picked out as the lucky guy to face Pacquiao on CBS/Showtime in a pay-per-view fight that goes for $54.99.

Pacquiao’s trainer Freddie Roach gave a big hint in how Pacquiao will fight Mosley on May 7th, saying in a recent news conference “The first four rounds may be a little crucial, a little dangerous. He’s [Mosley] a good counter puncher and can punch a little bit, but I think we can break him down. If you walk in too aggressively, he will catch you.”

In other words, Roach is going to have Pacquiao wait until the 40ish Mosley gasses out after the 3rd round, and then he’s going to give the word for Pacquiao to go after the tired out Mosley and finish him off. This is probably get way out of hand once Mosley fades and is left gasping for breath.

Unlike some fighters, Mosley doesn’t seem capable of getting his second wind. He gets tired and he stays tired. The only real chance Mosley has in this fight is to go all out in the first four rounds and hope for the best, maybe get lucky with a right hand that knocks Pacquiao cold or a body shot that has Pacquiao laying on the canvas in pain.
