By Allen Hmiel: I have seen it happen before when one heavyweight champion is picked to literally destroy the opponent. The opponent is given little or no chance for success and is picked to take a tremendous beating. Ali fans feared for his life against the brutal George Foreman.

Holmes would destroy the little Michael Spinks, Buster Douglas was a huge underdog against the undefeated Mike Tyson. Holyfield, many thought would get hammered by Tyson. Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall had no chance against the huge overwhelming favorite Lennox Lewis. Guess what all the upsets happened. And it will happen again. David Haye has set the table to feast on an unsuspecting overconfident Klitschko.

No one gives David Haye a chance against the big Ukrainian Heavyweight Champion because Haye is too small and cannot possibly battle the much larger hard hitting Klitschko. That is a bunch of Bull! Haye is quick and can move he isn’t going to stand there as most opponents do against the tall but not really agile Wladimir. Most of Wlad’s opponents come right at him and wait to be hit almost at will. Haye is elusive and cagey and smart. Wladimir will look for Haye, but Haye will there for a second and back out again. Haye will stick and move quickly bewildering the lumbering slower Wladimir to the point of frustration. It isn’t the point that Wlad cannot be hit but that most of his past opponents were to scared to hit with him. Haye isn’t scared of either Klitschko and has played them perfectly.

David will be facing a confident champion thinking that Haye will crumble on contact and wilt under the power of the Klitschko fists. Not going to happen. Haye is as confident as his opponent and realizes the slower Wladimir is made to fall. Haye will out quick and out hit the robotic Wladimir at will confusing him into making awkward lunging mistakes and throwing off balance punches which Haye will counter easily. Haye knows quickness and speed always outdoes raw power.

Speed and quickness are the necessary ingredients Haye will utilize to out point and possibly stop the slower and more clumsy champion. Just as Ali exposed the major flaws in Foreman’s arsenal and Ko’d the unbeatable champion in 1974, David Haye will do the same exposing Wladimir for what he really is a good not great mostly unchallenged heavyweight who has been fortunate to come along when the heavyweight talent pool has been drained of quality opponents. This will be Hayes’ greatest moment out-boxing a bewildered slower awkward champion and Haye will come out with a stunning victory. Place your bets call your friends and sit back and watch the title change hands in a great stunning upset fashioned and completed by the British wonder David Haye.
