Year End Boxing Analysis

By Robert Elmore: This has certainly been an entertaining year for me. But before I go any further I want to give a big thank you to the editors at boxingnews24 for allowing me to present my articles and display my talents. I look forward to doing a more writing.

Also, I want to give a big shout out to Ryan Dunn whom I gleamed from. I read a few of his articles before I decided to post (no disrespect to my fellow writers). I have enjoyed reading other articles. It wasn’t so much the articles, but the comments left behind that tickled my funny bone. Some comments were disrespectful. But hey it’s not my job to control everybody. I just hope we are more mindful of what we say as emotions about our favorite fighters can get in the way of displaying the facts. Nothing wrong with having a favorite fighter. I have mines. I also noticed that my fellow writers as well as myself have picked up boxing promotional sense when writing articles. They seem to know what is “hot”.

For example: A writer has his articles that he can keep his/her name relevant. Then they have their “cash cow” articles. If one took the time and combed through this website; Mayweather and Pacquiao articles dominated. People see these two names in the title and the responses are instant. Most of them have exceeded two hundred. Other articles may be shunned if their fact based. However, I understand that certain styles of articles are not meant to dominate a sight. Gotta throw a couple monkey wrenches in there every now and then. Although we did not get the big fights we wanted we were still entertained.

I look forward to next year’s fights and writing as well. And as we proceed into the new year, let us remember those who were lost; who suffered major injuries while fighting; troubles outside the ring (legal or personal) and I pray things will be straightend out in their lives. God Bless to all and Happy New Year and keep writing.
