This will give Alexander, 23, the home town advantage in the fight. If you think that’s small matter then take a close look at Alexander’s last bout against Andriy Kotelnik, which took place in Alexander’s home city of Saint Louis, and you’ll notice that Alexander is incredibly lucky to have gotten the decision in that fight.

Many fans felt that Kotelnik won the fight by at least two rounds. At best, you could call the fight a draw if you were to ignore all the clean shots that Kotelnik was landing in the fight. However, the judges, all three of them, had the fight scored at 116-112 for Alexander. Based on this, it’s likely that unless Bradley totally dominates Alexander then he’s probably going to lose this fight by at least two rounds.

I’m hoping the judges score the fight correctly and give it to the right fighter, but I have a feeling that Alexander will win what’s commonly known as a home town decision. It’s really too bad that a neutral venue couldn’t be found for this fight, but it’s not surprising that Saint Louis will get the fight. Alexander regularly draws huge crowds of 10,000 fans and there’s no other venues that can match those kinds of numbers.

Bradley is considered by many boxing fans as the best fighter in the light welterweight division. He’s proven himself to be the best with impressive wins over fighters like Luis Carlos Abregu, Lamont Peterson, Kentall Holt, Edner Cherry, Miguel Vazquez and Junior Witter. Alexander had looked good in beating Witter and Juan Urango, until meeting up with Kotelnik and being exposed more or less.
