Harrison plans to fight Haye every second of the way on November 13th

By William Mackay: If WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (24-1, 22 KO’s) thought he was getting an easy fight for himself in choosing 38-year-old Audley Harrison (27-4, 20 KO’s) to fight on November 13th, Haye could be badly mistaken. Harrison, a former 2000 Olympic Gold Medalist for Britain, is treating this fight like he’s going to war and is training very hard at Big Bear in California. In recent Youtube video, Harrison, ax in hand in case he comes across any wild bears on the loose, said “Here was are, six in the morning. We’re on the track about to do our 45 minute run up hill. You don’t get this in London with David Haye’s training, coming out of a nice posh palace. This is the mountains. We ain’t playing. David Haye you better be ready for a serious, serous fight, because we’re as serious as a heart attack. I told you David Haye, every minute, every second, I’m going to be in your face.”

Harrison seems to be pretty motivated for the training. I hope Haye is taking this as serious as Harrison is, because I think we could be seeing a big upset here. If Harrison unleashes some of his god give power in his left hand, Haye might just go. Haye has looked a little out of sorts in his meetings with Harrison recently. Haye has been gotten accustomed to being the bigger mouth in his press conferences with Nikolay Valuev, John Ruiz and Wladimir Klitschko. However, there’s something about the calmness and the way that Harrison is able to knife right through to Haye’s last nerve that has him looking unsettled each time he gets with Harrison.
