Froch badly wants to fight Kessler, says Froch’s promoter

By Scott Gilfoid: Former WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch still hasn’t let go of his defeat at the hands of Mikkel Kessler last April, and is itching to try and get a fight with Kessler in order to avenge his 12 round decision loss to him. Instead of worrying about Kessler, Froch should be focused on his next Super Six tournament opponent Arthur Abraham, who Froch will be fighting on November 27th, in Helsinki, Finland. Abraham thinks Froch has lost his senses over his defeat to Kessler and thinks he can’t let go of the loss for some reason.

Froch doesn’t believe that’s the case. However, Froch’s promoter Mick Hennessy had this to say in an interview at the Telegraph.co.uk: “Carl wants to face Kessler badly, and put the record straight. After the Super Sixes, we will look to put the two of them together.”

See, this is the exact reason why Abraham thinks Froch is still haunted by his loss to Kessler. Froch needs to forget all about Kessler, and worry about not getting his head caved in by Abraham. What good is it thinking about Kessler, if Abraham is about to take Froch apart on November 27th.

I can only imagine how Froch will be adding Abraham to his list after getting blasted out y him. Froch needs to forget all about Kessler, because he’ll probably lose to Abraham, so what’s the point? Besides, Kessler’s eye is jacked up right now, and we don’t know if he’s ever going to be the same fighter he once was. It’s not even sporting fighting Kessler right now. But, I can see how it might be appealing to fight Kessler in his weakened condition.
