Harrison calls Haye a “Joke”, and tells him he can’t fight Adamek or Valuev because they’re injured

By William Mackay: Audley Harrison fired back at WBA heavyweight champion David Haye in Harrison’s twitter page, saying “Keep talking! You have your sidekick wasting our time working out a deal, yet you won’t sign. Adamek is cut and Valuev is injured. Hope your not waiting for James Toney this weekend. You really are becoming a joke blood. You are in for a big surprise. My left hand will connect with your chin at some point and you will be OUT COLD. 30 chin-ups are not going to protect your chin. MAN UP and sign!” Ouch! Harrison is taking off the gloves to slam Haye. Harrison wants Haye to sign for their November fight, but Haye, like usual, is dragging his heels.

But if Haye is hoping to fight Tomas Adamek, he’s going to have to wait around for awhile because he suffered two bad cuts over his eyes in his poor performance against Michael Grant last Saturday night and there’s no way Adamek will be ready by November. I suppose Adamek could fight if he’s desperate but the cuts probably won’t be heeled properly by then and will open up almost immediately once he starts getting hit by Haye. It’s one thing fighting with blood in both eyes against an offensively limited fighter like Grant, and quite another matter to have a powerhouse like Haye unloading shots. I doubt for that reason that Adamek would be crazy enough to fight Haye in November. And Valuev has serious injuries to his shoulder and right hand effecting his bones. He won’t be available for at least six months and maybe not even then.
