Haye has nothing but animosity towards Chisora stemming from their brawl last February in Munich after Chisora’s loss to WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko.

Haye wants to pound Chisora next month, and show the world how much better his performance was compared to Vitali’s. Haye is also hoping at the back of his mind that he can possibly land a big money bout against Vitali before both of them retire.

Haye told the Voice-online.co.uk “I don’t like this guy…Dereck went the distance against Vitali. Wait and see what I do to Dereck and I think people will start making good comparisons for me and I look forward to taking it from there. That [speaking about a match-up against Vitali] would be an ideal situation but whether it happens or not remains to be seen.”

It’s very possible it can happen if Haye looks superb in beating Chisora like I think he will. A big impressive knockout victory for Haye will go a long ways towards shaming Vitali into fighting him, because Vitali looked so bloody awful in his 12 round decision win over Chisora last February.

Chisora really took the fight to the 6’8″ Vitali and had him looking stressed and out of breath for most of the fight. It wasn’t that Chisora landed a lot of shots, because he really didn’t. But the shots that Chisora landed were the hard variety, both to the head and the body, and Vitali didn’t seem to like it. He was doing a good job of dishing out the abuse but when it came to receiving it from Chisora in return, Vitali was uncomfortable.

Haye has the power and the speed to give Chisora fits on July 14th if he turns up the gas on his offense. Haye needs to flurry on Chisora if he wants to take him out, because he won’t knock Chisora out by circling the ring and throwing pot shots all night long like Haye did against Wladimir Klitschko last July.
