By Peter Wells: After already seeing many sensational British dust-ups, there has been none more intriguing than the fight tomorrow night at the Echo Arena, Liverpool. Two unbeaten British fighters who have a bitter rivalry is enough to make any boxing fan’s mouth water but when you add a World title into the equation then the clash becomes a lot tastier.

Nathan Cleverly will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) Light Heavyweight crown on away ground against his domestic rival Tony Bellow. The fight has raised a lot of talk and the excitement is very high, but when you start to investigate what Tony Bellew has done to merit this world title shot, you can’t think of anything, apart from that the fight will sell.

An impressive performance is required for both fighters, not only to impress the boxing world but this fight could come down to who is more impressive and who wants it more on the night. Bellow is adament he won’t be leaving without the belt, and Cleverly says that Bellow is just a “stepping stone”. Sometimes though stepping stones can trip you up.

Bellew will need to show something he’s never shown before and I’m positive he’ll give everything he’s got, but it’s a case of whether that is enough to beat a talented fighter like Cleverly. Nathan won’t need to go in and trade with Bellow as he should be able to break the Liverpudlian down as the fight wears on. Bellow will have his moments but Cleverly should prove to be too strong and too classy. I believe that Cleverly can force a stoppage late on when his power and work rate finally starts to tire a brave but beaten Tony Bellow.
