pac778By Steve Lewis: After Manny Pacquiao’s dominant performance against top welterweight, Miguel Cotto, to capture a championship in a record-breaking 7th weight class, numerous Pacquiao skeptics became “converts.” Or at least, they were willing to finally give some due credit. Pacquiao: Show him some respect – I haven’t

pac6789By Liam Brindle: I honestly believe that too many people (including myself) have seriously underestimated Manny ‘Pac-Man’ Pacquiao. Every fight he has had in the past 12 months there seems to have been hundreds of people doubting the little Filipino. Whether it is on sites like this one, Forums, Boxing pundits, Fellow fighters and even boxing trainers. If I go back to 10th December 2008 I was boarding a flight from Manchester destined for the bright lights of Las Vegas to watch a fight that had been dubbed ‘The Dream Match’.

Well, knowing how much of a big deal was made out of Manny Pacquiao’s win over Miguel Cotto and Ricky Hatton in 2009, some of them might think about giving the award to Pacquiao. Personally, I wouldn’t even consider giving that award to Pacquiao. If they want to give the award to someone, they need to give it to Amir Khan.

Five Arguments Why You Should Bet on Pacquiao – Boxing

cotto41By Derrick P. Villanueva: 1.) Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao is Stronger than Floyd “Money” Mayweather – In his recent fight with Cotto, he turned the proud Puerto Rican’s face into raw hamburger. The only other time I’ve seen him look that bad is when he got pummeled with Antonio “Hands of Plaster” Margarito. mayweather45243By Peter Wells: We already know everyone wants this fight, but it’s up to Pacquiao and Mayweather to sort out the money problem. That is the only thing that can stop this fight from happening, and if Manny decides to retire.
