I felt that despite Pacquiao’s great talent and ferocity, the bigger and stronger Cotto would prove to be a step too far, however I severely miscalculated! Cotto was once again left in a gruesome state bleeding from the nose, and cuts over his left eye and under his right eye, plus the swelling. It was always going to be a bit messy, but it wasn’t as close as some people might have expected. Cotto was already well down on the scorecards when he was finally stopped by Kenny Bayliss about a minute into the last round.
